Dictation Commands for editing the current slide of the frontmost Keynote presentation
- Stop Edit
- Stop the current text edit. Equivalent to pressing the Escape key.
- DIctate Slide Body
- Replaces the content of the current slide’s default body item with the text cursor, ready to accept dictation.
- DIctate Slide Title
- Replaces the content of the current slide’s default title item with the text cursor, ready to accept dictation.
- Duplicate Current Slide
- Duplicates the current slide in place, with the duplicate following the original slide.
- Duplicate Current Slide for Animation Sequence
- Duplicates the current slide in place, with the duplicate following the original slide. In addition, a Magic Move transition is applied to the original slide.
- Identify Image Stack
- Shows the stacking order of the images of the current slide by placing a number over each in turn, and speaking the stack index. Image 1 is always the topmost slide in the stack of images.
- Move Current Slide to End
- Move the current slide to the end of all slides.
- Append Blank Slide
- Adds a new blank slide to the end of the presentation.
- Insert Blank Slide
- Inserts a new blank slide after the current slide.
- Insert Slide
- Inserts a default slide after the current slide.
- New Presentation from Current Slide
- Creates a new presentation file that contains a single slide copy of the current slide.
- Create Panoramic Sequence
- Creates a 4-slide panoramic sequence using the image on the current slide. The image is panned left-to-right for 10-seconds. Note: the current slide must contain only a single panoramic image (pano).
- Create Long Panoramic Sequence
- Creates a 4-slide panoramic sequence using the image on the current slide. The image is panned left-to-right for 20-seconds. Note: the current slide must contain only a single panoramic image (pano).
- Select Default Body Box
- Selects the slide’s default body item. To edit a default body item, use the command: “edit slide body”
- Select Default Title Box
- Selects the slide’s default title item. To edit a default title item, use the command: “edit slide title”
- Turn Slide Body Off
- Hides the current slide’s default body item.
- Turn Slide Body On
- Shows the current slide’s default body item.
- Turn Slide Numbers Off
- Hides the display of slide numbers throughout the presentation.
- Turn Slide Numbers On
- Shows the display of slide numbers throughout the presentation.
- Turn Slide Title Off
- Hides the current slide’s default title item.
- Turn Slide Title On
- Shows the current slide’s default title item.
